1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how NATURALMINDS DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information in connection with Voldash (the "Product") — the marketing site at voldash.com and the application at web.voldash.com (together, the "Site").

Voldash is a volatility analytics tool for options traders. You use it by connecting your own Dhan broker account through Dhan's partner OAuth flow; Voldash then reads NIFTY option market data on your behalf and computes analytics in your browser. There are no Voldash accounts and no Voldash user database.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in a manner consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

2. Who We Are

Voldash is operated by NATURALMINDS DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, a private limited company registered in India.

Both numbers are public records: the CIN can be verified against the Ministry of Corporate Affairs register at mca.gov.in, and the GSTIN via Search Taxpayer on the GST portal.

3. Information We Collect

Voldash is built so that almost nothing about you reaches us. The analytics run on your device, against data stored on your device.

3.1 What we never receive

  • Your Dhan username and password. You never enter these on any Voldash page. Logging in sends you to Dhan's own website, where you authenticate with Dhan directly. We have no way to see or capture these credentials.
  • Your positions, holdings, order history, trades, or funds. Voldash only ever requests NIFTY option and index market data — the same public market data available to any Dhan Data API subscriber. It never calls Dhan's portfolio or order endpoints, and it cannot place, modify, or cancel an order.

3.2 Your Dhan access token

After you approve access, Dhan issues an access token that is returned to your browser and held in your tab's session storage (never local storage). Your browser clears it when you close the tab.

Requests for market data are relayed through our proxy at api.voldash.com, which forwards them to Dhan. Your token is transmitted through that proxy in order to authenticate each request. The proxy is stateless: it retains nothing between requests, writes no token to any store, and does not log tokens. We keep no server-side record of user tokens.

3.3 Where your market data lives

The option history Voldash downloads is written to your own browser's storage (IndexedDB) and stays on your device. We do not receive a copy of it and cannot read it.

3.4 Usage counting

When a session successfully connects, your browser sends a single request to our proxy containing your Dhan client ID (an identifier for your broker account — not a credential, and not sufficient to access it). The proxy stores a one-way hash of that ID together with the date, so we can count how many distinct people used Voldash on a given day. We do not store the client ID itself, cannot reverse the hash to recover it, and do not use these records to profile you or track your activity.

3.5 Information you send us directly

Anything you choose to include when you contact us — for example, your email address and message when you write to contact@voldash.com.

3.6 What we do not collect

  • No analytics, tracking, fingerprinting, or advertising tools of any kind, on either voldash.com or web.voldash.com
  • No cookies, and therefore no cookie banner
  • No payment or bank account details (Voldash takes no payment; the Dhan Data API subscription is billed to you by Dhan)
  • No government-issued identifiers (PAN, Aadhaar, etc.)
  • No precise location data

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information described in Section 3 to:

  • Authenticate your Dhan session and relay your market-data requests to Dhan, so the Product works
  • Count distinct daily users in aggregate, so we know whether the Product is being used
  • Respond to your questions or requests when you contact us
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not build behavioural profiles. We will not use your information for any purpose materially different from the above without first notifying you.

5. Legal Basis and Consent

Under the DPDP Act, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you provide by connecting your Dhan account to Voldash through Dhan's consent screen — the screen on Dhan's own website that asks whether you want to grant Voldash access.

Your consent is:

  • Free: You are not required to connect an account to browse public information about the Product.
  • Specific: Limited to the purposes described in Section 4.
  • Informed: This Policy and the Security page explain what we receive and why.
  • Unambiguous: Provided by an affirmative action (approving access on Dhan's consent screen).

You may withdraw your consent at any time by revoking Voldash's access from within your Dhan account, which immediately ends our ability to make requests on your behalf. Closing your browser tab also discards your session token. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following categories of service providers, strictly for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Dhan (Moneylicious Securities Private Limited) — your broker. Voldash authenticates you against Dhan and requests market data from Dhan on your behalf. Your relationship with Dhan, including your credentials and your Data API subscription, is governed by Dhan's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) — hosts our stateless proxy at api.voldash.com, which relays requests between your browser and Dhan and stores the hashed daily-usage records described in Section 3.4. Cloudflare's processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider, which serves the Site and processes standard server request logs.
  • Discord — if you choose to join our community server, your interactions there are governed by Discord's own privacy policy. Joining Discord is a separate, voluntary action on your part, and we do not link your Discord identity to your Voldash usage.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a government authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not currently transfer your data outside India for any purpose other than routine operation of the third-party services listed above, some of which may store data on servers outside India. The DPDP Act currently permits such transfers unless the Central Government specifically restricts a jurisdiction.

7. Data Retention

Because we hold so little, retention is short by construction:

  • Your access token — never retained. It exists in your browser tab until you close it, and passes through our proxy only for the duration of a single request.
  • Your market data — retained in your own browser until you clear your browser storage. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete.
  • Hashed daily-usage records (Section 3.4) — retained for up to 24 months as aggregate usage statistics, then deleted. These cannot be reversed to identify you.
  • Correspondence — if you email us, we keep the message as long as needed to deal with your query and any follow-up, then delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS)
  • Restricting access to your data to ourselves and the service providers listed in Section 6
  • Relying on reputable third-party providers with their own security practices

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

9. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your personal data, subject to applicable legal requirements
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity
  • Raise a grievance about how we handle your personal data (see Section 10)

To exercise any of these rights, contact the Grievance Officer named in Section 10. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

We aim to acknowledge your communication within 7 days and resolve grievances within 30 days.

11. Children's Data

The Site and the Product are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. Options trading and related analytics are not suitable for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, please contact the Grievance Officer, and we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

12. No Investment Advice

Voldash is a data analysis and informational tool. Nothing on the Site, in our communications, or on our Discord server constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or any form of financial or tax advice. We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser or research analyst. Any decisions you make based on information from this Site are your sole responsibility.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as the Product develops, our data practices evolve, or the legal landscape changes. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post a notice on the Site. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
